Website Redesign: Law Offices of Daniel R. Maier, 2022
Daniel Maier’s legal website had not been updated in 10 years. He was searching for a modern redesign to bring his website back to life. I recommended several design updates including navigation, color scheme, fonts, content, and a new theme on WordPress. I allowed the client to choose from two prototypes for his preferred design and functionality. The project took me approximately 40 hours, including proposal, design, implementation, testing, and security updates. We began on a project based contract and have switched to an hourly maintenance plan where I improve SEO, perform security upgrades, and add additional content as needed. Product Release: Insights
VeriSolutions, 2020
After careful market research, user interviews, and working sessions with stakeholders, we decided to create a new software product that would increase our analytic and reporting capacities of our existing products. I began with putting together user stories based on business needs and the needs of users. Then I translated them into product requirements for the development team. I worked with users, stakeholders, designers, and engineers to come up with the UI and UX. We chipped away at the backlog with our weekly sprints, and pushed new changes daily for testing. When we enabled MVP access to some of our users, we quickly began flushing out user stories for version 2. This product was released in March 2020. As of March 2021, our adoption rate is 65%.

Marketing Refresh
Alchemy Sky Foundation, 2020
I reached out to a local nonprofit organization in need of a Graphic Designer and WordPress support to help them with jobs including marketing refresh, amazon merch store management, and graphic design. This was a very important personal project to me because music is a big part of my life and this opportunity provided me the ability to connect with people in need of healing. The Executive Director sent me flyers like the one to the left, and I spent time reorganizing the content, adding photos from Veteran’s Music Project events, and adding color and icons, as you can see from the image on the right.

Product Release: iOS & Android Mobile App
VeriSolutions, 2019
VeriSolutions signed a worldwide distribution contract with Fortune 500, Avery Dennison’s Retail & Food Division, to bring their customers IoT technology that increased their productivity and operational oversight. I was instrumental in the process of white labeling two of our products, rebranding sales and marketing collateral, and international training for Avery Dennison. We also developed a mobile application, Temp & Task Tracker, to allow their customers to complete digital checklists from their phone or tablet. It is available in the Apple and Google Play Store in 13 countries. The two biggest challenges I faced in this project were optimizing the UI/UX for 13 different languages and establishing bluetooth connection with third party devices. These were both complex technical challenges that required team work, research, and trial and error to solve. It was my first time I had to follow submission and design guidelines for Apple and the Google Play Store and I learned a lot about those processes.

Software Roadmap
VeriSolutions, 2018
I was responsible for creating software roadmaps that detailed our forecasted projects and goals across VeriSolutions products at the time. This required buy in from distribution partners, stakeholders, and employees. I was the spokesperson for our software goals and communicated effectively to all. To receive consensus I had to elaborate on why certain goals were present, and others were not. I used data from our web applications, customer usage, and revenue forecasting models to plea my case. The roadmap was updated quarterly, based on accomplishments and changes in priorities.

My Journey to Product Management
VeriSolutions, 2018
In late 2017, a few months after I started working within the sales and marketing department, I was presented with the opportunity to take on a new role, one of which I never heard of, in the research and development department. The development team was being pulled in different directions, priorities weren’t clear, and processes were nonexistent. I stepped into my new role as a Product Manager with a lot of uncertainty. I spent a lot of time researching what makes a good product manager and leader, implementing new tools and processes, and meeting with different team members and customers for feedback. This certificate of completion is a reminder of a time where I stepped into the unknown and really proved to myself I can take on hard challenges.

To increase our website traffic and SEO rank, VeriSolutions needed to publish and promote industry relevant blog content. Facebook Ad Campaigns
VeriSolutions, 2017
Facebook Ad Test 1: My objective was lead generation. My variable in my A/B testing was a video from a repair technician vs. an animated marketing video. I customized my target audience to include refrigeration repair companies and employees in Atlanta, GA region. I included a call to action labeled call now.
Facebook Ad Test 2: My objective was brand awareness. I customized my target audience to include quick serve restaurants (QSR’s) and people working in the restaurant industry. Our goal was to increase traffic to our website.
Combined, these two facebook ads increased our customer acquisition through facebook referrals by 70%.
